About GUHSD Teacher Induction
The Grossmont Union High School District offers new teachers a job- embedded teacher induction program that meets the California Teaching Commissions requirements. Helix Charter and Steele Canyon High Schools also participate in the program.
Mentors from across the district provide weekly support, conduct classroom observations, and discuss Individualized Learning Plan goals.
GUHSD has offered Induction options (previously known as BTSA) to new teachers for over 20 years.
